If you are looking for a skin solution for your Delphi or C++Builder applications, SUIPack is a great choice. You can download it from https://www.sunisoft.com/suipack or purchase it from https://www.sunisoft.com/suipack/purchase. You can also find more information about Sunisoft Skin Solutions v2 at https://www.sunisoft.com/skin2.In this article, we will show you how to use SUIPack in your Delphi or C++Builder projects. We will assume that you have already installed SUIPack and have a license key. If not, please refer to the installation guide at https://www.sunisoft.com/suipack/installation.
The first step is to add the SUIPack components to your IDE. You can do this by opening the Component menu and choosing Install Packages. Then click on Add and browse to the SUIPack package file (SUIPack_Dx.bpl or SUIPack_CBx.bpl, where x is the version of your IDE). Click on Open and then OK. You should see a new tab named SUIPack in your component palette.
The next step is to create a new application or open an existing one. You can use any type of project, such as VCL Forms Application, VCL Console Application, or MDI Application. To make your application skinned, you need to add a TSUISkin component to your main form. This component is responsible for loading and applying the skin files to your application. You can find it in the SUIPack tab of the component palette.
After dropping the TSUISkin component on your form, you can select it and go to the Object Inspector. There you can see several properties that you can customize. The most important one is SkinFile, which specifies the path of the skin file that you want to use. You can click on the ellipsis button (...) and browse to the folder where you have stored your skin files. You can choose any of the official skins or third-party skins that are compatible with Sunisoft Skin Solutions v2. You can also create your own skin files with the SkinBuilder tool.
Once you have selected a skin file, you can run your application and see how it looks. You should notice that all the standard controls and most of the third-party controls are skinned automatically. You can also use some of the SUIPack controls that provide more features and flexibility than the standard ones. For example, you can use TSUIButton instead of TButton, TSUIMemo instead of TMemo, TSUIMainMenu instead of TMainMenu, etc. You can find all these controls in the SUIPack tab of the component palette.
That's it! You have successfully made your application skinned with SUIPack. You can experiment with different skin files and properties to achieve the best look and feel for your application.
